The Ten Offerings of the Udgan Eke[2]

On March 22, 2026, we have organised Ten offerings to the Udgan Eke — the primordial Mothers who created everything. The sacred ritual was performed with a single, sacred aim: to eternise Süün Tenger, the Milk Heaven.
1. The First Udgan Eke
The First Udgan Eke is the Mother who first grew the taiga[3] of North America upon the living body of our Earth. She now descends from the Crownless-Formless Void[4] to settle in her homeland and native waters, and to grow the oceanic taiga of the Forested Earth once more. Wherever ocean rests today, taiga shall rise in the ages to come — for the destined journey by which our Forested Earth shall ascend and become a Milk Star[5], a star of the Milky Way, has now begun in earnest.
When the first forest was grown upon Mother Earth, our world was a permafrost planet — a Silver Earth. In time it became a Dappled Earth, then a Forested Earth, then a Crusted Earth, and at last a Golden Earth. Our world today is called the Golden Earth: it dwells within the dominion of its Golden Sun and rests beneath Polaris (Алтан гадас — the Golden Stake Star). Yet in its ceaseless wandering among the stars of Heaven, it is destined to ascend, to soar, and to become a Milk Star.
2. The Second Udgan Eke
This Udgan Eke is credited with first growing the bogs and marshes of the Silver Earth. She now descends from the Boundless Void of the Sky's Edge[6] to begin her work anew: to coax living taiga from the coal that sleeps within the body of Mother Earth.
Where there is coal today, there was once permafrost. Before that, desert. Before that, taiga. Before that, dense primordial jungle. Yet this time, she shall awaken the seed of moss from within the compressed life of coal — drawing roots from seed, and taiga from roots. Within coal, all five elements are present; and within each element, its seed.
3. The Third Udgan Eke
The Third Udgan Eke carries the grace of having first created the desert upon the Dappled Earth — a desert that arose upon the ancient continent of Australia. Now she comes from the Lifeless Void[7] to begin a new work: to grow taiga from within bare rock itself.
Where cliffs, crags, gorges, and ravines stand today, there were once mountains and ranges. Before that, open plains. Before that, ocean. Now she shall begin by coaxing lichen, moss, and the first tender plants from the cracks and crevices of high peaks and steep ravines — for in those fissures lie animal remnants, ancient roots, and moisture-born mold, and from these the first moss can always be drawn forth.
4. The Fourth Udgan Eke
The Fourth Udgan Eke first grew the desert upon the Crusted Earth — a desert born in what is today known as the Gobi (цав) of Asia. This time she descends from the Crownless-Eternal Void[8] to return to the cradle of her origins — the land where water was first born — and to draw taiga from the permafrost that still holds the memory of ancient life.
That ancient desert later became ocean, then open steppe, then the Altai foothills. Now it stands as the Altai Mountains (Алтайн нуруу). It is a sacred truth that golden life was first born in the Altai. Within permafrost there is breath. Within breath, life. Within life, dust. And when dust is tended, algae rises.
Twenty-one milk offerings with jünz⁹ are to be prepared.
5. The Fifth Udgan Eke
The Fifth Udgan Eke is the blessed one who first grew the ice of the Moon. She now descends from the Crownless-Shadowless Void[10] to rest upon the Moon — upon the lunar sea — and to begin growing taiga within its depths. For the Moon is ordained to become a Forested Planet in the fullness of time.
Our Moon today is an icy world gripped by mist, frost, and frozen silence. But in the age of its ice-growing, it was a silver meteorite, and an ice layer needed to form around its luminous surface. On the floor of the lunar sea lie sediment, settled matter, and the long-stilled nests of countless creatures. From their slow return to essence: hair grows, hair becomes seed, seed becomes embryo, embryo becomes moss, moss becomes grass, grass becomes root, root becomes soil, soil bears plants, and from plants — taiga shall arise.
Twenty-one rashaan¹¹ are to be placed in sacred cups.
6. The Sixth Udgan Eke
The Sixth Udgan Eke first grew the world's air. That first breath of air was brought into being — from Absolute Nothingness — upon what is today the island of Hokkaido, Japan. By the power of the Crownless, the primordial air boiled forth from within the volcanoes of the young Earth. Now this Udgan Eke descends from the Crownless-Lightless Void[12] into the atmosphere once more, to grow taiga from the stone of volcanoes and from within the burnt black lava.
Within the Earth's deep belly, vast multitudes of ash-lava lie waiting. Upon the soil, stone-lavas rest in abundance — all destined to become the cradle of living taiga. Within lava, gas is held. Within the atmosphere, countless dissolving forces are at work. When lava yields to these forces, its hidden gases are released. Those released gases renew and recreate air — and air, as breath, causes roots, grasses, and greens to breathe again, multiplying and growing them into new life.
7. The Seventh Udgan Eke
The Seventh Udgan Eke created milk. She created the Milk Ocean. She caused the Milk River to spring forth and made the Milk Spring surge. There was a Milk Ocean upon this very Earth — and Milk Mountains, the Sünbar Mountains, stood beside it. Their milk-seeds still remain. Now, from the Milk-Formless, Milk-Crownless Void[13], this Udgan Eke descends to her Taiga — the Eastern Taiga.
It is told that the first milk rain fell upon the Eastern Taiga. From that rain, a milk puddle formed. From the puddle, milk moss grew. From the moss, milk plants arose. And from those plants, the Milk Taiga was born. That sacred milk puddle has since settled and become Lake Khövsgöl (Хөвсгөл далай), the great sacred lake of northern Mongolia. Bearing witness that the legend is true, the Lake and the Eastern Taiga endure together, side by side, unchanging from the very beginning.
Beside the Milk Taiga, the Milk Mountains — the Altai — still tower. Long ago, at their foot, a Sünbar rock rose tall; within its cave, tiger cubs were born and a clan grew strong. Later, when the rock became Golden Rock, wolf cubs came to nest within it and were born there.
The wolf ancestors married the deer women, and from their union the Milk Lineage (Сүн ураг) was born. From the Milk Lineage, the seed of the navel came forth — and those navel-seeds were called human beings. This is also told as the legend of Börte Chono and Khoa Maral[14]: the Grey Wolf and the Fallow Doe — the first mother and father of the Mongol people.
8. The Eighth Udgan Eke
The Eighth Udgan Eke created the stars. From Nothingness she created the Word. From words, deeds. From deeds, roots. From roots, life. From life, the nucleus. From the nucleus, dust. From dust, planets. And from planets — stars were grown.
The Word first arrived upon the dusty Earth as electric charge, carried in the lightning strike of Khordol Saridag[15] — the sacred mountain range of northern Mongolia. With that charge, the strike flashed, and the Word alighted. That first electric charge landed upon iron dust. The iron dust, slowly and inexorably, animated — and from it, soil and rock were born.
Now this Udgan Eke comes as the Word itself. That Word is TNGR[16]. She is the Creating Mother who has grown taiga upon the countless stars of Heaven throughout all time. The star-taigas grew suns — for the sun ignites and burns from the gas breathed by the living taiga. The suns grew moons — the moon was fashioned to absorb and filter the debris carried within the gases flowing from the stars; it breathes together with the sun and may therefore be said to have been born through the sun's breath. And from sun and moon together, the Earth was born: the Sun gave life, the Moon gave sacred elixir, and the Wind gave fire.
Even today, stone grows upon this Earth through the words of Heaven. Behind the sound of thunder, rock is speaking. Behind rock's speaking, a star is being born. Stars grow from their own taiga. When the sacred resonance of TNGR arrives — vibrating, luminous — rock receives some of its words and deflects others outward. The words that leave rock reach the stars, sink into their breath, and grow their taiga.
9. The Ninth Udgan Eke
The Ninth Udgan Eke created the first fire. That fire was born within the Formless Darkness — becoming the vital fire of the Pole Star, Polaris (Алтан гадас — the Golden Stake Star), burning as a golden flame. And from that golden fire, the Golden Earth was born.
Coming to the Golden Earth, that first fire arrived as lightning — striking the ground where a gold ore deposit rests today. From the lightning, a golden meteorite flew. From the meteorite, golden dust. From the dust, golden life. From golden life, the golden sun. From the golden sun, golden heaven. From golden heaven, golden rock. From golden rock, golden cliffs. From golden cliffs, golden plants. From golden plants, the golden taiga. From the golden taiga, golden creatures. From golden creatures, golden seeds. From golden seeds, golden spirits. From golden spirits — the golden brain was born.
The golden knowledge held within that golden brain was channelled and transmitted by the Ongod[17] — the ancestor spirits — and inscribed as golden sutras. The golden truth of the golden brain was then inherited by the Golden Lineage (Алтан ураг).
This Golden Fire Udgan Eke enters the realm of existence through the Light of the Formless, growing taiga in accordance with the Law of Süün. The Süün Law Taiga — the Milky Way Taiga — gives Milk Fruit to its Milk Seeds, and has become the great mother who gives birth to all the forests of the world. The taiga of the Khentii Mountain Range (Хан Хэнтий нуруу) in central Mongolia is one such forest. It is called Terelj[18]. Here, the Golden Fire Udgan Eke has grown the Golden Lineage — eternally, without end.
10. The Tenth Udgan Eke
The Tenth Udgan Eke created herself. She gave birth to herself from the diamond egg of MonKü Akok TNGR[19] — the Eternal Blue Heaven — and that single diamond egg created all of Mönkh Höh Tenger in its entirety.
Within the diamond egg there is an embryo. Within the embryo, primal darkness. Within the darkness, soil. Within the soil, moss. Within the moss, fruit. Within the fruit, offspring. Within the offspring, seeds. Within the seeds, roots. Within the roots, forest. Within the forest, milk. Within the milk, nourishment. Within the nourishment, the human being. Within the human being, an embryo again — and so the cycle turns without end. The egg comes first; the bird comes after.
The embryo of the Udgan Eke now rests at the very navel of our Earth — and that navel lives within the Selenge River (Сэлэнгэ Экэ — Mother Selenge), the great sacred river of Mongolia. From Mother Selenge, nine rivers were born.
On the nature of the diamond: Diamond is the densest known compound of carbon atoms — the hardest substance in the natural world. And it is carbon that the taiga breathes. All embryos hold nine seeds. The centroid of a cell's nucleus carries nine centrioles — and these nine centrioles are the nine embryonic seeds from which cells are born, in what we call cell division. In this same way, the Diamond Udgan Mother holds nine embryos. Those nine embryos are the nine Udgan Eke described above — the Nine Jewel Mothers, the nine creators.
Within the very cells of your body, nine embryos are present — seeds of nine generations of descendants yet to come. You are both the mother and the father of your lineage's next nine generations. Their fate, their gifts, their destiny all flow from you. Therefore: walk in the footsteps of the Udgan grandmothers, let the wisdom of the Udgan Mother move within you, and honour your OdKüEn[20] — your destined cosmic purpose.

The Udgan Shamanesses and Zairan Shamans of Khökh Törmos
Notes
[1] Süün Tenger Eke — "Milk Heaven Mother"; the supreme feminine celestial being of the Süün (Milky Way) cosmology, in whose honour this ceremony was performed.
[2] Udgan Eke — "Mother Shamaness" (Удган = a female shaman of the highest lineage in Mongolian tradition; Экэ = Mother). In this text, the ten Udgan Eke are primordial cosmic mothers — each responsible for creating one foundational element of existence.
[3] Taiga (хөвч) — In Tengri science, taiga carries a far broader meaning than the common term for boreal forest. It refers to any living, breath-sustaining forest grown by a celestial body — whether on Earth, on the Moon, or among the stars.
[4] Crownless-Formless Void (Оройгүйн Оргүйгээс) — a specific dimension of primordial non-being from which the First Udgan Eke descends. Each of the ten Udgan Eke originates from a distinct void-state, named for its essential quality.
[5] Milk Star (Сүүн од) — a star of the Milky Way; the cosmic form toward which the Earth is evolutionarily ascending through its cycle of planetary transformations.
[6] Boundless Void of the Sky's Edge (Огторгүйн Хөвөө үгүйгээс) — the primordial void of the Second Udgan Eke; literally, "from where the infinite sky has no shore."
[7] Lifeless Void (Амь үгүйгээс) — the primordial void of the Third Udgan Eke; literally, "from where there is no life."
[8] Crownless-Eternal Void (Оройгүйн Мөнх үгүйгээс) — the primordial void of the Fourth Udgan Eke; literally, "from the crownless, without eternity."
[9] Jünz (жүнз) — a ritual vessel or unit of measure used in shamanic milk offerings.
[10] Crownless-Shadowless Void (Оройгүйн Сүүдэр үгүйгээс) — the primordial void of the Fifth Udgan Eke.
[11] Rashaan (рашаан) — sacred elixir or living water; a spiritually charged liquid offering used in shamanic ceremony.
[12] Crownless-Lightless Void (Оройгүйн Гэрэл үгүйгээс) — the primordial void of the Sixth Udgan Eke.
[13] Milk-Formless, Milk-Crownless Void (Сүн Оргүйн Сүн Оройгүйгээс) — the primordial void of the Seventh Udgan Eke; the first void to carry the Milk (Süün) quality within its very name.
[14] Börte Chono and Khoa Maral — the legendary ancestral pair of the Mongol people: Börte Chono (the Grey Wolf) and Khoa Maral (the Fallow Doe), as recorded in the Secret History of the Mongols. In Tengri science, this legend is understood as the sacred union of the Wolf Clan and the Deer Clan, from which the human Milk Lineage was born.
[15] Khordol Saridag (Хорьдол Сарьдаг) — a sacred mountain range in Khövsgöl Province, northern Mongolia, bordering the great Lake Khövsgöl. In this text, it is the site of the primordial lightning strike through which the Word (TNGR) first entered the Earth as electric charge.
[16] TNGR — the sacred abbreviated written form of Tenger (Тэнгэр — Heaven, Sky, the Divine). In Tengri science, TNGR is not merely a name but a primordial sound-vibration that carries generative cosmic power. The full word is deliberately contracted as a mark of its sacred, unspeakable nature.
[17] Ongod (онгод) — ancestor spirits; in Tengri shamanic tradition, the enlightened spirits of ancestors who act as transmitters of sacred knowledge between the heavenly and earthly realms.
[18] Terelj — a sacred forested valley within the Khentii Mountain Range, central Mongolia, approximately 80 km from Ulaanbaatar. These very offerings were performed here on 22 March 2026. Terelj is also the site of Tenger Academy's annual Planetary Enlightenment Retreat.
[19] MonKü Akok TNGR — an archaic and esoteric form of Mönkh Höh Tenger (Мөнх Хөх Тэнгэр), the Eternal Blue Heaven; the supreme all-creating celestial intelligence of Tengri cosmology.
[20] OdKüEn (ОдКүЭн) — a sacred term in Tengri science referring to one's destined cosmic identity and soul-purpose, as encoded in the star-lineage of one's origin.
